The days are going to get longer

All things that have been going at a fast pace in our lives is now going be slowing down, simply because we have reached our pinnacle. God says for us to slow it down, especially for us to recognize how far we’ve drifted from Him and each other.

We work 24/7, till our mental health is so depleted. The demands especially on those with children is crazy. People has been going none stop that interactions with one another who are isolated now because of covid-19 has become toxic. People can’t sit still. It’s like everyone has (ADHA) Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. We need every opportunity to be still and now is that time seeing how far we’ve come. There’s nothing we are without and nothing it seems left for us in the dark that we don’t now see, we are surrounded by so much knowledge, wisdom and everything is just a click away.

We drift away from God in the sense that He’s last on our priority. Our constants busy life is way to demanding to connect with our Lord who’s the source of our life who give us strength. The hour we should be given to God for own benefit is now, if able, a five minutes, then we’re through the door of our own will and given life. Forgive us!

Time only goes by fast when we’re busy, but when you have nothing to do, it can seem like forever. But God is now going to make time longer so everything can now slow down so we can smell the roses.

What does Jonah and Moses have in common?

They were both God’s prophets, the chosen ones to deliver His people according to His will. But they both burned out and broke faith, when it came to dealing with humanity. Moses got frustrated at the rock of Meribah and Jonah he’d refused to go to Nineveh. They both loved and respected God for his mercy and compassion towards humanity, but as for them, their patients run cold because humanity can be so cruel and ungrateful.

God didn’t punished Moses by not allowing him take the people to the promise land. God saw Moses frustration and anger that was taking a toll on him because of the behavior of the people. Moses had to remind God at one time his promise to Abraham not to destroy the people. From the day they left Egypt all the people did was complained and it just got worst when Moses was forty days on the Mountain getting the law from God and then they built the golden calf to worship as their God. God saw that it was more than Moses can bear and that is the reason he let the people wonder for forty years in the wilderness. Exodus 32.

Jonah had a relationship with God just like that of a parent and a rebellious child. He blatantly refused to go to Nineveh and headed for Tarshish knowing that the Lord will come after him. He wasn’t suprised when the storm hit the boat he was in. He knew it was because of him the storm came, so he ordered them to throw him overboard the boat to stop the storm in hopes to kill himself. But instead God sent a big fish to swallow him. For three days in the belly of the fish he repented and eventually agreed to do as he was told by God, “go to Nineveh” The fish then spit him out and he went to Nineveh and warned them to repent of their sinful ways which they did. Jonah problem was why God, knowing he was going show mercy to the people anyways couldn’t deal with them himself. Jonah had an issue with the attitudes of people and their behaviors towards God and the fact God still care so much for them regardless. Jonah just was not impressed with the Lord’s mercy and compassion to wicked and rebellious people. Look like he had, had enough with them. God wanted to show him to look at it from his point of view. The book of Jonah

Déjà vu and repetition

Déjà vu according to Oxford dictionary: a feeling of having already experienced the present situation. With certain circumstances in our lives today is like deja vu, it seems like we’ve been through this before. There’s nothing in life we are unfamiliar with and as for human nature we are so predictable  and stubborn, we are never changing.

How we learnt are we, according to history and what our ancestors been through, especially where our faith in God is concerned. We have drifted, drifted so far away for our Lord. We could only hear ourselves and each other speak, not the voice of God, nor His angels. This is what happens when our focus becomes worldly and not on the Kingdom. The times we are living in now is déjà vu because, “we’ve been here, done that, and here we go again!” man never take time to re-evaluate our nature. We never take the time to stop look both ways before we cross over to the other side and that other side is evolution. We never fail, history has proven each time we are blindsided with a plague, like what we are experiencing now or some kind of natural disaster. We forget God when our abilities exceeds our needs for him. For example look at with technology and science, and money is power, and for some their God.

Repetition: the act or an instance of repeating or being repeated: Miriam Webster dictionary. Whenever man is in  repetition with their lives, it can only mean one thing, and that is, failing the tests to move on and graduate in our weaknesses, sin. And man kind haven’t learned enough to move on. Just the thought, Jesus has to return is proof that man reaches to a certain level and then get stuck in repetition. We are so proud to say, “Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8 Well so is humanity with sin, that the devil doesn’t need to come up with new tricks to get at us. Temptation and deception never fails with us, we fall for it all the time.

Perspective

Writing a blog is only in obedience to God for someone like me with dyslexia. Whenever I say I can’t He says, “I am the God of the impossible, just have faith.” I dislike reading, because of my difficulty, but I will keep pressing on in faith, because I have something to say and do for my Lord.

For a long time man has being saying the world’s coming to an end. Take a look closely people it just did. Bang! Here we are were nothing will ever be the same in the world again because of covid-19. Regardless of what we are trying to do we are heading for a recession. Before the heads of governments give, yes I said give, the people money they need immediately seeing that they pay so much into taxes and unemployment and so many people die before they ever make claim. It’s sad that the time spent with people in such great need is to first come up with an idea for the people to pay back the money before they even get their hands on it. Sad, very sad, because our well being should be worth more than cost (money).

To follow Jesus is to give and don’t count the cost. We can’t take money or material things with us when we die. But there are a lot of people who are hoarding their wealth as they watch those without suffer. And there are those, lets give credit to, who will take the shirt off their backs, a matter of speech and give to the  less fortunate. But in the whole world only a few is mentioned for such acts. Now with covid-19 everyone is hoarding, whether money, groceries like a bad mental break down, instead of coming together unified to make sure in this fight, no one is left without. The real nature of humanity is showing it’s ugly face due to covid-19. Selfishness, pride, greed, love for money, is the overwhelming evidence. Am I my brother’s or sister’s keeper? Yes we are!!!

We are all blessed in the Lord, we must focus on the things we do have and count our blessings. Don’t allow what we see going on all around us in the world be distractive in our walk with Him. We know that God is love and those of us who are his should be walking in it towards others. When we say God we have to mean it, just not a form of godliness.

Easter Sunday 2020 and my heart aches

I always have a good relationship with the Lord. I am able walk and talk to him, even to lay down in my bed, I speak to him. And today is no different as I tell him how my heart aches. I can’t find myself in traditional mindset of the celebration of Easter, when my heart aches with pain for what is going on in the world. Yes, I rejoice to know that the remembrance of his resurrection has been to give us all life and have it abundantly, but his work is still continuing today. Thou he is risen the work is still in progress until his return. Things are still not perfect yet, I can’t help but be reminded, especially for things to get so out of hand with no one perceiving the effect of covid-19 on the entire world.

Everyone who’s rejoicing today, I am so glad for you. I believe Jesus is just as sad as I am for the lost of lives and the hurting people in the world today, with covid-19. He’s speaking loud and clear, that he will soon come. With everything we are going through, he’s saying, “be patient.” Jesus weeps as we all are weeping and call for him at this point and time in our lives.

How well learnt are We to the things pertaining to the kingdom of God? We are all being tested and tried at the same time, all over the world. Those who has eyes to see, let them and ears to hear, let them hear. But take a look, even the water is on fire and water is the element used to destroy fire. Look at the hopelessness. According to the blessed mother, let faith be our driving force to push on through.

Listen attentively, God is speaking to us in dreams and visions, in his actions as well as in his word. Repeat what Samuel said when he heard what sounded like Eli calling him, “speak Lord, speak Lord for your servant hears.” 1 Samuel 3:10.

“God is able, I know that, and I trust with all my heart and soul, He’s in control.” Things can go really bad for us truly bad for us, if we allow money be more important than our well being (health). Our priority should not be the economy of our countries. We are to be drawing near to the Lord at this time and be still. We can’t love money more than God, I can’t help but emphasis this more for all to understand. We don’t want some kind of storm or earthquake to hit us with all we are already going through for the love of money. Money is power for the world leaders, but power is from God and is God. No one but God is to have power right now in our world, so people stop reaching for it. Prophesy!!!

Jesus is in the grave, the core of the earth

Good Friday was yesterday, so today I am imagining what Jesus is doing in the grave (core of the earth). “Dust to dust, and ashes to ashes, as was said in times of old concerning death, that we were return form where we came, Genesis 2:7.

Jesus being in the core of the earth is to give light to the darkness that man endured because of sin. He went down to conquer the powers and principalities, rulers of darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high places, according to Paul in, Ephesians 6:12. Paul stipulates it’s not the flesh and blood that we wrestle against, but powers and principalities. We all know the story, Paul was changed from being a murderer of Christian, to now a soldier of the Lord. When on the way to Damascus to persecute innocent Christians, Paul was thrown off his horse by a great light, Acts 9. His revelation about the powers and principalities may have given to him by the Holy Spirit, or Paul was describing what it felt like for him to be possessed when going after God’s innocent people to murder them. Jesus being in the core of the earth (grave) on behalf of all humanity to overcome the works of devil responsible for all the evil in the world. I visualize it as being I court and God is the Judge, Jesus our persecutor and devil the defendant. With God and Jesus combined together in the court, well the devil doesn’t have a chance.

The fight isn’t that of a human, it is a spiritual one. And it is going on right now with the devil and all who’s on his side. It required that Jesus the man, to lay down his body (flesh) to stand in God (divinity) but yet fighting for and in the flesh, for all who are alive to survive and continue living, with the guidance and protection, in the will of the Father.

Jesus came to us so passively, with love, compassion, mercy and all humility. It’s hard to picture him a warrior. His biggest fight to me, was to cloth himself in humanity and to have taken the fight for our salvation in the flesh. But through the spirit (divinity) overcome the powers and principalities through death. Why is death so important? It is important because it is the results of sin.

Jesus is restoring the energy of the earth to its original state, before sin. The powers and principalities is the first to be overcome in the grave(core). Right now I could imagine Jesus working together with all the angels who has come to earth for him and to help him in the grave (core) of the earth to complete his task. Sin had brought about so much bad in the world that didn’t only affect humanity, but everything in the earth also. Jesus work is working none stop for restoration.

I neither a Jew or a Gentile, all belongs to God

There is just no more distinction because of the life, death and resurrection of our saviour Jesus Christ. John 3:16 declares no specific nations or people, it simply says, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” No mention of favoritism, or superiority of race, but the world.

Yes it may seem like the Jews is God’s favorite because of Abraham. But remember we all came into existence because of Adam and Eve. And with the story behind the two sons Cane and Abel which proclaims Abel the good son and Cane the bad because of his action. Cane was the seed, the product of sin in man of bad .and Abel the seed of God’s righteousness and that remains in man, the good. Remember Adam and Eve ate of the tree of good and evil. And Cane and his brother, became the manifestation of the fruit that was eaten. One was good and the other bad. So we all know which side all the Abraham of the world came from. Obviously Abel!!! Abel, that seed born into subjection to the will of God, whereby Cane the rebellious seed.

Good knows his children and he has no favorite. Just remember the Parable Jesus about the prodigal son. His father love his rebellious son as much as the one who stood at his side and never left, Luke 15:11-32.

God need a good man or woman, who can overcome unrighteousness and continue in His will for all of humanity like Noah and his family. There are some people in the world today according to scriptures who follows Jesus are the chosen ones. After all God is no respecter of persons, Romans 2:11-16, Acts 10:34-35. God wants people of all nations to repent and be saved 2Peter 3:9; 1Timothy 2:4 Which shouldn’t be a surprise after all we are all his creations.

Obedience

Just can’t get over the fact that some people blatantly disobey the rules to social distancing and isolation concerning covid-19. What’s wrong with people, can’t they just follow the rules? It is for their own well being; to save them from the risk of dying. It’s like they’re not concerned on the implications their actions can have on themselves as well as the well being of others.

The Scriptures is evident that from the beginning with Adam and Eve disobedience cost us, when ate from the forbidden tree. And also disobedience with the Israelites in the wilderness with Moses on the Mountain after they had been delivered out of slavery in Egypt and the complained about being brought out of Egypt to suffer in the wilderness. Genesis 3 and Exodus 32 and 21 Moses did not enter the promise land because of his disobedience to God had told him to speak to the rock instead he struck the rock twice, and dishonor God in the presence of the Israelites, Numbers 20:8-12.

I always contemplate within my spirit, Moses action at the rock was more of frustration and fatigue not, disobedience. I believe God knew it and withdrew him from the responsibility of carrying on any further with the rebellious Israelites.

The cost, what it cost disobedient. It has been working sin to destroy the unity between man and God. Lord have mercy on us, for as it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end? The devil is a liar!!! Jesus life, death and resurrection is not in vain. Disobedience has no more power and like sin, only consequence by the power and authority of the resurrection of Jesus.

An encounter with God

We can encourage others to go to church, read their bible and to say a prayer. We ourselves do the same, and for this reason we automatically assume it make us faithful, spiritual and very religious, knowing all that there is to know about God. And today’s world, you can now get a Doctorate degrees, a title that enable you to be looked upon as all knowledgeable to the things pertaining to the almighty. But yet still many of us pursue our interests to drawing near to the almighty has never had an encounter with him. Seems the closest to ever get an encounter with God is through the pages of a book and the lectures and teachings of someone on a stage or in a classroom.

It take a lot to have the kind of faith to believe in something you can see. For some of us, faith is like a young child believing in Santa Claus to come down the chimney on Christmas bringing all the gifts wished for, the kind of faith that never waivers.

There is two encounters in the bible to me has proven strongly that an encounter with the Lord changes everything. 1. The story of Moses and the burn bush, Exodus 3 Moses was given wisdom, knowledge, and understanding by God to deliver His people out of slavery from the Egyptians. 2. Saul who became Paul after fell off his donkey on the road to Damascus to persecute Christians by a blinding light and hearing the voice of Jesus, Act 9.

When you encounter the Lord it changes your perspective on everything about life. You tap into the realm of endless possibility. You become a walking miracle, filled with the grace of God. You are more educated than years of studying and a title on a degree can give.

Evolution is it?

Like a woman in labour, so is the world with “Evolution” And we all are affected by it. With every contraction, the closer to the transformation. The Lord had orchestrated it that rebirth begins every century. From six billion to now eight billion people, it’s time for new beginnings.

I have watched tornadoes, hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami, volcano erupted, extinction of certain animals, and massive fires. The kind of fires that destroy acres of lands, and people properties, like their homes, farms, their livelihoods, and the habitats of innocent animal, etc. After everything in the world around us has been some how affected with all kind of storms and disruptions, humanity some how are always lift for last to get affected by the contractions of evolution, either by war or sickness, like a pandemic. Every century this happens like a purifying of the earth.
