Who are you in this unprecedented time, Noah or Jonah?

I’d like to think of myself as Noah, simply because God had found favor in him; blessed him and his family for being loyal and obedient amidst a sinful world.

Noah being in the world and not of it and his obedience, set him apart. Like social media and all new technology that God has provided for man in this 21st century, I am not going to allow the works of the devil to cause me to be caught up over it, making it an idol like he does with everything God created for us. I keep myself focused on the things pertaining to the Lord, being obedient and not allowing the worldly stuff lead me into sin.

Jonah, where are you? Let me guess doing your own thing by running from God and being disobedient. No different than Jonah, I have a love for God, but people I’ve got issues with. I had my struggle with God’s love for wicked and rebellious people, why he always give them a chance to redeem themselves? I couldn’t understand what is it he sees in them, when all I could of seen was evil and hoplessnes. But God being merciful, forgiving and compassionate still willingly want to use me, who’s tired of them and their ways, prefers he’d do away with them like in the days of Noah. “He can be bothered with them, but leave me out of it. I am only human and I am fatigue. Click a finger, say a word whatever Lord, please don’t ask me to help, knowing how I feel about it all.”

Being swallowed up by the fish for three days taught me that I am no different than the Ninevites that I was refusing to help. I am rebellious and wicked also, needing deliverance from God and to know he has not left nor forsaken me in my iniquity. Lesson is to love God with all your heart and mind, also to be obedient to him and loving others like you love yourself. There’s no room for narcissism in the kingdom.

Most of us can look at the pendemic like that day of Noah in the ark, but I tell you it’s more like Jonah. Disobedience is what cause Jonah’s trouble with the Lord.

Walking by faith in this world

Scriptures declare that we walk by faith not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7

This world that we’re living in is complicated and our level of understanding of it’s truth is more complex than our intellect will allow. So faith to me is another way of lifting myself out of the realm of the world’s truth and into that which is of God. Like wishful thinking(fantasy) being world’s and reality(truth) God’s.

When we walk by faith, we are in the realm of truth, in the world but not of it. Our sight, what we can see on this earth is clouded, not at all clear. Faith is the spiritual sight, we see clearly through the eyes and understanding of God and sight in the natural is confusing and changeable truth. I say changeable because of choice we are given, where as with the truth of God it is unchangeable, it just is truth, not how we would want it or fix it to be.

Faith is blinded, but yet sightful in letting things be as called out. Just like God was able to do in Genesis when he had commanded “let there be…” Genesis 1:3 and it was.

My Father, and My Heavenly Father to whom there should be no difference

Matthew 6:9 “Our Father in heaven.”  John 14:9 “He that hath seen Me hath seen the Father.” Matthew 23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

Man was created in the image of God and He has imputed a part of being into us. When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit death was their destiny, when God intent was for man is to live and not die. Man lost their way because of disobedience, sin, but God had a plan. For this reason until Jesus no man was to be called father according to Matthew 23:9. God was to be acknowledge as the only father. The Lord told Adam and Eve to be fruitful and multiply Genesis 1:27-28. Unless a man is completely in oneness with the Divine in His authority like Jesus, no man is worthy to be called father. To see you (man) must be to see the Father not just a representation as an ambassador, but the real deal as Adam and Jesus once was.

It been almost two month that my earthly father had past away and I miss his present as so often I took for granted. I am still having a hard time believing that he is really gone, with no funeral as a closer or traveling to see his burial place, in my spirit it’s like some how he is not departed. I can’t get the grip of it till the facts and proof can be seen.

One day I broke down in tears asking why can’t I just see my earthly father in my dreams to confirm his passing, like with everybody else that had passed away, when I heard a voice say, ” I don’t need to be looking for him in signs and dreams, just look in the mirror to see myself is to see him, cause He’s with me, in me as one to guide and protect me.” Then I turned from crying to bawling my eyes out, ” I got it, now I understand, thank you Lord, thank you Jesus.” I thought to myself how much so God our father, whom we can’t see is also with us. It is love, the love that we have which keeps our loved ones alive within and surrounding us always, like the love of the disciples for Jesus. That’s the reason they could of seen him after his resurrection and no one else.

Our Father according to the Lord’s prayer Matthew 6:9 Allows us to comprehend that we are all one family regardless of race, faith or social status, whatever, once you’re human unlike all His other creations in subjection through instinct and not choice is aware of his presence without a doubt.

Luke 2:49 Jesus at the age of twelve after being lost for three days said to his parents when found, “Why were you searching for me?” He asked. “Didn’t you know I had to be in my Father’s house?” The King James version says, “I must be about my Father’s business.” In which I prefer as the  real interpretation, because it is not His will, but the will of His Father had to be done. So when we walk as children of the Lord and people adore us for good works. Remember like Jesus to humble ourselves and given honor to the Father and not ourselves to whom all things are possible.

We are the seed of the Father and the Mother is the fertile ground (earth) in which the seed is to be fertilized and grown. God is our Father and creator of all humanity and all things in heaven and earth.

The crown and what it costs to wear

John 19:2 And the soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on His head, and put a purple robe on Him; and began to come up to Him and say, “Hail, king of the Jews!” and to give Him slaps in the face.

To wear a crown seems so excited and prestigious, we think about it like that of fairytale something we read about in a book or watch on television. After all to wear a crown makes you feel like royalty. There is a real crown for us all and it has nothing to do with fairytales, but reality and at a cost. And unlike the earthly royalties it doesn’t require you to conquer a nation, be born or marry into. This crown is available to everyone according to James 1:12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. Revelation 2:10 Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. 1Peter 5:4 And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

The crown of persecution, suffering and humility can be very hard to be proud of wearing. But you must walk with your head up, stand your grounds in faith. In this world that’s the cost of your a crown. Seeing that a crown of thorns was placed upon Jesus’s head should not have been a surprised to us at all. Jesus took our sins with him to the cross. Why the crown of thorn? The crown of thorns is the mental and emotional attacks by the devil. After Jesus life, death and resurrection a renewing of our mind took place when the comforter ( Holy Spirit) came. The disciples no longer were afraid to stand in their faith, they went on boldly to proclaim the kingdom.

We all want the crown, the prestige that goes with it, but it costs. If only we could want God in our lives, as much as wanting riches, fame and all worldly things. Then and only then would we realize that the crown we are so longing for is God, himself.

Look to no man as a God!

We as humans have strengths and weaknesses. We hunger, tire, we are very emotional and imperfect. All these things and more disqualify anyone of us as ever being capable to be looked upon as a God. We cannot put weights on one another we can’t carry because of our imperfections as a human beings. No leaders of churches, governments, rich, famous, earthly Royal persons, whomever, because we are all flawed. We have to stop being shock by the actions of others, it’s human nature to err.

Jesus is the only man we can ever look up to as God. He said he did nothing of himself, to see him is to see the Father (God), John 14:9-10.

Unrest!!!

I been praying to God for the right thing to do and say for such a time like this in our world. “Jesus can you hear me? We really do need you now” as the tears rolled down my face. I live so far away from what happened to George Floyd in Minneapolis, but it’s hurting like if it’s me and I am right there going through what everyone living there is feeling and going through in my spirit. I can’t even express the hurt and disappointment in humanity when I see racism or any prejudice.

I am devastated to watch the news, with another death of an African-American man, brutally and boldly killed in the presence of a camera, “George Floyd,” let me say his name out loud. “Lord have mercy on us all!” It is sad to see the looting and fires burning. Under no circumstances should that be accepted as okay. But still with no understanding some police officers brutality subduing the people. “Haven’t they learnt anything yet?” Stand back with understanding and let the people vent, by the protesting, peacefully. Why the rubber bullets, teargas and beatings again. The police looked like they came with the intent for a riot not a protest. And all I see is hurting, frustrated and scared people. Hurting over the injustice, frustrated over the fact nothing seems to ever be changing with police and African-Americans , and scared is the ones doing the hurting, like the police and the those with the mindset of the police concerning racism.

It’s like covid-19 is unlocking the mentality of all humanity to take a good look at ourselves. Who are we alone and also as a whole with others on this planet, we call our earth. What is it going to take for us to realize we are all in this together, to live on this planet, and it doesn’t matter ethnicity, religion, social status or whatever. One thing we are sure of is being human we all die. No one, no matter what, lives forever and is superior to one another in any ways. I guess it would take aliens coming to earth from another planet to make us realize this?

Two wrongs doesn’t make anything right. The people looting, setting things on fire and vandalizing properties are wrong, just proving the police justified in treating. them the way they do. They are just as wrong as the police officer who stood by allowing the police officer who had his knee on the neck of George Floyd and did nothing. The officers who are still beating, shooting rubber bullets, teargas and violence against the hurting people instead of allowing them to protest peaceful is ever so wrong. All they did was take this world wide from Minneapolis with the proof of their actions on camera. It looks so bad on the police, even if they were trying to up hold the law. Their behavior looked wicked and vengeful.

“Lord hear my prayer for a hurting world today. We are living in uncertain times and everyone is on edge, especially realizing life as we know it, will never be the same concerning Covid-19 and the isolation is playing a major role with our mentality. Please help us to stay focused on you and all righteous so we can carry on till this passes. We do need the comforter (Holy Spirit) to fall fresh on us at this trying times.” Amen!

Our troubled world needs prayer!!!

“This kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting” Matthew 17:21. What’s happening in our world today requires men and women of God to pray and fast, the worst is still yet to come. We need spiritual watchmen and watchwomen of God on the hill top of our world in pray and supplication to the Lord for guidance. Like Moses in Exodus 17 “whenever Moses held up his hand, Israel prevailed. Whenever het let down his hand, Amalekites prevailed.” When Moses hands grew tired, Aaron and Hur held his hands up one on one side, and one on the other so that his hands remained steady till sunset. We need Jesus to be holding not just our hands, but our entire being, mentally, physically and spiritually. We are not once again doing well humanity.

I am sadden to think that we read the scriptures and proud to relate our circumstances in the world today is just like that which was written in the scriptures centuries ago. Shame on us! We obviously haven’t learned a thing, repeating history all over again.

I truly believe when Jesus returns it isn’t going to be about all the lovey dovey, compassionate, merciful, goodness we know Jesus to be. We are going to be called out on who’s side we truly want to be, God’s or the devil? It’s not going to be nice, but stern and discipline, because we were given every tool we need to be better spiritual human being to draw nearer to God.

Heart broken, another African-American man killed

I use to believe that racism is no longer boldly out there, but in discretion. I believed there’s no way it would be blatantly visual for all to see, not in this century. History passed, I could understand people were very ignorant back then. Four police officers in Minneapolis fired for the involvement of murdering a African-American man. One of the officer placed his knee on the man’s neck awhile he pleaded he couldn’t breath. So lost for words, but tears only tears can speak of the brokenness of my heart and spirit.

Today with DNA we can all understand there’s no pure nations, we are all mixed. One thing I have always taken into consideration as a faithful person in God; the world was populated by the first parents Adam and Eve not a monkey that evolved. How is it then, we can ever think we are superior to one another especially concerning the color of our skin. What is it sibling rivalry?

Why does it seem that coloured people are the Israelites after all these years back in Egypt crying and praying for a deliver to come to deliver them out of bondage, still. And once again the only deliver to come to change all this once and for all is Jesus. It’s been too long especially in the United States the cruel treatment of coloured people. The Holocaust never kept on repeating itself, neither Hiroshima or any other cruelty in history to humanity. Why is it the cruelty continues to African-American people? With all the freedom and rights, compared to past history they now have it’s like a cover up or just a deception, it’s not real at all there’s a underline hypocrisy about it all, racism is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow, just disguised for those who truly are as tolerance until a chance to show it’s ugly presents, sad to say.

Everything in the dark is coming to light with this pandemic, we can no longer ignore. Is there really a way this can ever be changed? Yes! Jesus returns. Racism is one of the greatest commandment broken as Jesus says, “love your neighbors as yourself” good Samaritan.

Prophecy!!!

A billion and a half to two billion people is destined to die by this pandemic covid-19 around the world. People are going to be ignorant because unlike a war the plague doesn’t show up to you like a bomb being dropped and exploding or machine gun being fired to hear the sound and take cover, but it sneaks up in a disguise as an illness not even to take seriously. We under estimate the consequences of our ignorance and the plague kills us, our love ones and neighbors. It is a silent killer and is to be taken seriously.

I give thanks to all the risk takers out in the world who believes this pandemic is not to be taken seriously, and those Christians who believes because they are faithful they are immune. I thank you because for every life taken, one is spared, according to Matthew 24:40 Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left. It will be a life for a life. People stubbornness, disobedience and ignorance of the matter is going to be their down fall. But I thank them because of their actions they are sparing a lot of lives who really want to live and not take any risk, but follow the rules.

The world we know is now a foreign place

Lost for words, from the day of Adam and Eve, Noah and Sodom and Gomorrah mankind just haven’t learned. Stubborn, disobedient and selfishness as usual, our down fall. It feels like we are the Israelites being delivered out of bondage by the Egyptians and all we can do is argue, murmur and complain, we should just have remained in bondage and in Egypt. “Lord have mercy on us!”

Only the Lord knows when we shall be delivered from this pandemic. I believe the cure is right in front of us, but we are blinded by our own selfish ambitions and vain conceit, our blatant refusal to turn to the Lord in all humility. We need to stop and acknowledge God is in control of our lives, not we ourselves under these circumstances. For once the choice is not ours, we can’t take control of this, it’s just not happening! Our arrogance and ignorance always gets in the way.

Things is never going to ever be the same now and forever more. Here we are believing that we were able to create technology for our own convenience, patting ourselves on our back about our accomplishments, when it has been God’s plan for such a time like this. We can now understand that God has our future planned out for our own good. Nothing is created by man, it is discovered, discovered because God places it within our spirit to discover it. And with everything else about our lives He orchestrate it according to timing, place and century.

Just thought of all the things we were able to do and took for granted is now taken away from us. I have a very difficult time with the changes especially standing in line to go into the grocery stores and going shopping, everything touched has to be sanitized, you got to wear masks for protection, wash your hands consistently, don’t take flue like symptoms as it’s nothing and it’s going to pass, you can’t gather together with your friends and family and worst, be there for your sick loved ones and having them pass all alone, not even able to have a funeral for them, OMG! There are people dying alone in their homes without anyone knowing because of the isolation concerning covid-19 living alone and being all alone with no one. Being able to have gone outside was the only way they connected with others. No theatres, concerts, zoo, museums etc. This is what our world as we use to know it has now changed to become our new normal.
