The devil is an angel, sometimes we forget. Whenever we speak of an angel, it’s always in the context of it being a blessing from God that helps in times of need, like a miracle. Let’s acknowledge the fact that the devil is an angel gone rogue and I can’t help believe once an adversary is now used for God’s purpose to convert humanity.
But our forgiving and merciful Father in Job 1:6-12 allowed this evil tyrant to come before His presence with all the other good angels and asked permission to torment Job and God allowed him, but he wasn’t to take his life…What? God has a job the for the devil where humans and our faith in Him can be tested beyond what we can think or imagine God would allowed, except our lives would be spared.
There’s no compromising with the Lords goodness, mercy and love for His creation. But yet, us humans judges each other so mercilessly and for His sake. Definitely according to Isaiah 55:8, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord.” Wow! The thought of God allowing this is truly beyond human understanding.
But after wrestling with God over what’s going on in our world He gave unto me this revelation: The devil can’t do anything unto humanity without His permission. What? I thought to myself, “that’s wicked” and right away He replied in my head, I heard the voice of Jesus telling Judas, “what you are going to do, do quickly.” And it hit me, God knows everything, even the plans of the devil and he works it for His good, Romans 8:28 “ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to His purpose. Everything God does is for our own good because he loves us all, John 3:16 God so loved the world…
The devil is the antagonist in our lives like in the movie he keep our lives interesting, exciting and focus on the things pertaining to God, bringing out the best in us, keeping our faith and our souls grounded in God, lest we fall. We’ve got to stand balance in this world, learning with wisdom, knowledge and understanding the antagonist is subjected to God power over him, and it is through God and God alone to whom he fears. We have the ability to choose to stand in faith rather than in fear. Take control through Jesus, and in Jesus nothing is impossible we can’t do or over come, even our weaken flesh and that of the worldliness.
An antagonist is like the switch, it turns on the souls that is walking around needed to be ignited. God uses this to get us awaken within our spirit. Sometimes we need a good fight to shows us how strong we can be if we put our faith in God and our mindset.
If we fear the devil, we give into his power over us. But in Christ our light and salvation to whom we are baptized, with all boldness of his authority given by which we are to operate, the devil will be defeated and all fears is gone.
Romans 3:23-24 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of good, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. When money or anything is put before God, we know the world is in crisis and our world is in crisis. Not money or any head of government, leaders, church…can save the world besides the Son of God, Jesus. Whom do you put your trust in to make the world better. While Jesus like Moses on the mountain top getting the commandments from Gods the Israelites was busy sinning against everything they had gone through being delivered out of bondage from Pharaoh, making a golden calf for their God. What are we busy today making for our deliver, salvation…our God? Jesus is in heaven like Moses getting the laws from God to make our world better and instead of being on our knees praying and asking for guidance, protection and stability…until his return like the Israelites we’re believing some how he has forsaken and forgotten about us. We have given up on God and began to go back to our old sinful ways like Jesus never came. How could we wonder why the world is in chaos.
The devil is here to keep us in check, that why not everything that happens to God’s people is to destroy us, but to build us like Job.
