Where do we go from here!

My thoughts as I sit and watch the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. I can’t help but think to myself after Her Majesty passing, “where do we go from here?. Not just the world, but the entire royal family. This is a sad day, but the out pouring of respect and love for the Queen from all over the world says a lot about who she was as a human being and head of state. This is a marking of an extraordinary movement of God in which has been done in our world. I believe it is a sign to the beginning of something. We had the plague, fires and climate disasters…and now the sovereign of seventy decades passes. “Brace ourselves. something is coming, I can’t help but feel this within my spirit.” We can only pray that it is something good like Jesus return. Things has gotten so bad and chaotic in our world today with humanity and it’s getting worst, even with the truth and the word of God to guide us, we are still not taking into consideration the lessons we are to have learned. Prejudice, hatred, racism, war, enslavement to have dominion and power, unforgiving, lies, murdering…everything that has been detrimental (sin) to the existence of the future of humanity in which we are yet to overcome. As it was in the beginning we’re still disobedience to the loving Father of us all. “When will we ever learn?”

At least Jesus with all his love for his earthly family was able to come back (resurrection) to his disciples in the upper room after his crucifixion to encourage them to move forward with all that he’d taught, and showed them. He didn’t just leave written instructions, but his divine presence intervene as witness to enable their weak and broken soul. Sometimes I wish our loved ones will return to us and also give us encouragement to press on forward. Maybe they do, but man has fallen so far from God we no longer have that ability to hear them, being caught up with the things of world.

With every passing of someone that made an impact in our lives we should recognize how important it is to live good and do good. You don’t want your legacy to go down in history as the worst human being ever. Knowing we’re flawed doesn’t give us the excuse not to strive and fight against our imperfections, do the best we can to make this world we’re living in a better place for ourselves and the generations to come. To bring about love, unity, mercy, peace and compassion like our Heavenly Father, reflect Him within us.

It feels like a helpless emotion after the passing of a loved one. Change is hard, but the human spirit is resilient . At the moment we feel stuck in time to move forward, holding on to the moment that seems to have ripped through our soul, the passing of a loved one. Going forward is hard, but we must move along regardless, because time waits for no one, and moving forward, is life goes on. The difference between moving forward and time, is emotionally we can be held back form moving forward, if we don’t take control of it and it takes discipline to move with time as it keeps ticking away not waiting. “We can’t hold back the hands of time.”

“Oh Lord, do have mercy on us!”
