Drawn to the light

The light is drawing us in even from this picture, because of all the darkness in the room. No one wants to be in the dark. I do believe that even in the light metaphorically we are still in darkness. The light (eyesight) we are limited so when in darkness light draws us to it and that light is God, the unlimited light.

The darkness in the room is like being without faith in the world and the door open with the light is the invitation for us to walk in. How many of us rather stay in the darkness rather than to walk into the light? Darkness is never safe unless you have faith. Faith becomes not only our light, but our sight.

Grace and faith

I was just thinking how much the flesh is so weak, it lead us into temptation. The thought of Jesus knowing and understanding that about us, I feel like I have nothing to fear, but to continue in faith because no matter what, everything is going to be alright.

Ephesians 2:8 ” For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” For it is the grace mixed with faith that’s going to help us make it through. Grace is God working it out for us, doing His part for our salvation and faith is us (man) working it for ourselves believing God is able and us doing our part also.

When Jesus says take up your cross

Matthew 16:24-26 Then Jesus told his disciples, “if anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

Jesus who came to die for our sins (salvation), tells us to deny ourselves take up our cross and follow him. Isn’t this ironic? Jesus is boldly telling us we have an responsibility along with him to our salvation. Notice he didn’t mention he was going to carry our cross for us. We were told to carry it for ourselves.

He spoke about being afraid of dying, death to the worldliness, but to live according to the will of the Father, when he says not to save your life or you’ll lose it and in losing it for him you’ll find it. And finding it means everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death. Why then would you want save your life to live in constant sin, rather than to lose it for righteousness and live forever?

Crosses belongs to the world and being in the world we all have crosses to carry. But God’s kingdom which has come through Jesus the cross is the key to the kingdom.

To love God makes a difference

Where’s the euphoria and the crazy desire to be in the presence of the one you love. Where did our love go? And I am not talking about the love between each other, but the love for our Lord. Putting God first allows all other things to be added to our lives. We shall not be in need or want for anything, Matthew 6:33

I could remember being very afraid as a Sunday school child to do anything that could lead to being disobedient to God. Most of all the thought of going hell was terrifying. I was so afraid of the consequences of my actions, so I’d try to live by every commandment and rules of the bible. Matthew 22:36-39 The greatest commandment is love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. Love your neighbors as yourself. If I’d fail at any of the Lord’s ten commandments, His greatest I felt was too easy to not accomplish.

I can see in the world today how much the love for God had gone cold. How has it gone cold you ask? We are lover’s of ourselves and have a form of godliness. So many of us walk a good walk and talk a good talk but we are hopelessly lost souls. What we fail to realize, to love God is to love oneself and like a trickling affect that moves the love touches everything and everyone around you, that even when things are bad you can’t see it or feel it, you’re in the light.

When the love for God is gone, we suffer ourselves unnecessary by being filled with selfishness which leads to greed, bitterness, hate, pride nothing but darkness.

Saul and David, God always has a plan

Saul is after the shepherd boy David with s spear.

Saul the first king of Israel fell from grace through his disobedience to God. 1 Samuel 15:3 Saul was to completely  destroy everything and anything associated with the Amalekites and he didn’t. He kept what was good and even kept their king alive. Samuel the prophet confronted Saul and told him the Lord  has rejected him as king for his disobedience. 1 Samuel 15:22-23.

God send Samuel to Bethlehem to the house of Jesse where he has chosen the one of his eight sons to be king. David a young shepherd boy was chosen by God to be Saul’s successor. Not his brothers who had looked the part, a young and ordinary but faithful son, David. For this reason God says that David is a man after his own heart, 1 Samuel 13:14, Acts 13:22.

1Samuel 16:14 ” Now the spirit of the Lord had depart from Saul, and an evil spirit from the Lord tormented him.” This just goes to show that God control the evil as well as the good. Saul servant suggested to him to find someone who can play the lyre when the evil spirit from God comes on him it will make him feel better. One of his servant recommended David Jesse son from Bethlehem and he sent and ask Jesse for David. David served Saul and he liked him very much, made him one of his armor-bearers. David remained with Saul and whenever the evil spirit from God come upon Saul David would play the lyre and Saul would feel relief and the evil spirit would leave him. The playing of the lyre is very important to Saul. When he was first anointed by Samuel and was on his way back home Samuel told him he was going to meet a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, timbrels, pipes and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying and he also will prophesy with them, 1Samuel 10:5-6.

If you don’t know the story of how David and Saul began an relationship with each other this is how it all began. Saul had no idea at the time this young shepherd boy David was going to be his rival as king even before David killed the Philistines giant Goliath. David was already anointed by Samuel. It was only after David killed Goliath and began killing more enemies on the battle field than Saul, when the people sang and dancing about David’s victory, 1Samuel 18: 7-14. Jealousy and resentment toward David arose in Saul, he felt David was after his kingdom next. The spirit of God had left Saul completely only the evil spirit was left that tormented him and he got worst, not even the playing of the lyre helped. It got so bad David had to run and hide to save himself from Saul trying to kill.

I couldn’t understand why would God have allowed Saul to be tormented by an evil spirit and then to torment David, his chosen? In the book of Job God had given the devil permission to go after Job also his chosen and a man after his own heart. Then I thought about Joseph with the coat of many colours who had a dream and I remember what he also like David endured, it worked out for their good. Reason being the Lord was with these men because of their love and faith in him regardless of their circumstances they waited on and trust God for their salvation. Saul became like Adam and Eve, disobedience to God cost him everything and like Job 1:21 said, “The Lord give and the Lord has taken away.”

1Samuel 10:6-7 The spirit of the Lord will come powerfully upon you, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person. Once these signs are fulfilled, do whatever your hand finds to do, for God is with you.

Practice what we preach, now is the test of our faith

Ever believe that you’re so faithful as some thinks (spiritual), each time you read the bible, go to church fellowship with others, encouraging one another to press on in faith as you’re in the atmosphere of worship and praise. And it all seems so easy as long as there’s no obstacles or distractions from the enemy.

Like a door that has been shot closed to reality, it some how opens up when troubles come. Pain and fear is an awakening of our soul like we never know it, an reviving of the spirit that seems asleep in us. But God, when we are so distressed He’s never far.

We didn’t realize our freedom until now with everything going on in the world especially the pandemic. We took for granted our freedoms. Just 2019 we were free to come and go as we wanted. We had so much rights, we were could never be wrong. For some of us freedom meant us having the ability to be our true selves, no more faking, freedom to speak out, love who we want to love, travel and visit new places, take vacations wherever we wanted to, children was in school, playing in the parks, and the list goes on.

We were going through the emotion, jumping and leaping and praising God, believing He can make the impossible, possible and Oh! So much faith in Him. Well now is the real test of our faith. Can we truly believe within our entire being, that God is in control? This weeping we’re going through right now will pass and our joy is going to come. It’s going to get worst before it get better. Are we able to stand this test of time in faith?

I am Empress, I am woman and I am proud (Part 5) The vision continues

Here are beautiful art depiction of the Blessed Mother Mary. She is every woman and every woman should want to be her. I see myself in all. We are mothers, friends, family and most of all faithful lovers of God, if you understand what I mean?

The Blessed Mother Mary revealed to me that like her son Jesus, she doesn’t want to be worshipped but wants us to worship God. She calls herself the spouse and servant of God. To see her is to see the Father and the Son because they are the same in spirit. Before she came on earth she was the spouse of God. Her purpose on earth was to have the Son of God. She was the Immaculate Conception born for God’s purpose.

Mankind must pray for their own salvation, not because God wants our prayers for himself or needs it. It is for us, prayer is to communicate with God and God wants to know our pains, joys, everything from our lips. But most of all he wants us to have trust and faith in him. The praise God wants because it is like love to Him. Trust and faith because when we fall, trust he will catch us, faith to not fear falling, for he will not stand by and let us fall again. We must believe that.

All religion, nations etc. (all people) must unite in love, peace, respect, and communicate with each other if we want to call ourselves Christians. There is going to be a division among the nation’s. The division is going to be based upon good people and bad (those who chooses to follow God and those who choose otherwise). Many will claim to be for God but will be turned away. We will look to the churches (church leaders, and members) for answers or prophecies but the answers will not come from them. The answers will come from those who are considered poor in spirit ( people who don’t necessarily go to church and are unable to quote the bible word for word, but they know God, they believe there is a higher power) who will pour his spirit on them for they are pure in heart. This does not mean those who go to church or those who lead the church are bad (not worthy). God has the power to put down the mighty from their seat and exalt those of lower degree. Man has been taught the requirements of God for generations. The churches have been repeating the same lessons to mankind. Jesus is coming without any more lessons he wants to know how well learnt are we?

All of mankind will have to obey God; the choice is no longer ours. God will pour his spirit on all flesh (people) not a religion, race, color etc. But all flesh (people) that we may know that He is God and not fear the earthquakes, storms etc, all signs of the end, but to have faith in him and call on him.

In the year 2000 the gates of heaven will be opened and Gods revealing spirit will be upon all men that they will push their way to get in, some will fall and be trampled. Even with all the technology, computers, satellites etc, man still cannot control nature ( weather, earthquake, sickness, diseases etc.) When all else has failed and there is no hope, who do we turn to? Not the churches, the government can help us. The doctors will see new diseases that they can’t cure, the old illness will be harder to treat and cure. More diseases will come before they can find a solution to the old. Know one would be able to help each other, from the mightiest of man to the lowest of man will have the same pains and sufferings. Your wealth, your status will account for nothing for all men are equal in the sight of God. Just as God son came humble as a poor man we will have to humble ourselves to one another. Humility, grace, love are a blessing onto man, hate jealousy and envy is a curse onto man’s soul.

Now is the time for faith and healing

Ecclesiastes 3: 1-22 (NIV) There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens…

The year, 2020 is a time and a season for each and everyone of us that we’ll never forget. We need faith more than ever now. When all has failed who else can we turn to, but God. Man right now to each other is like the blind leading the blind with this pandemic. We cannot get back to life as we’ve known it. Spirits are broken and minds are over loaded with thoughts.

The only way to attain healing is through faith. Healing is peace and peace can be found in a relationship with the Lord. To walk and talk with Him through it all, the pandemic, racial unrest, storms, the fires that are burning and so much more that is going on. God never give us more than we can handle.

1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken hold of you but such as is common to man. But God is faithful; He will not suffer you to be tempted beyond that which ye are able to bear, but with the temptation will also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it. (KJV)

There’s always a betrayer the midst, a Judas

John 13:21-27 Jesus knew Judas was going to be the one to betray him. When asked who was going to betray him, Jesus answered, “It is the one to whom I will give this piece of bread when I have dipped it in the dish.” Then he did and give it to Judas and told him to do what he must quickly. As Judas took the bread he left.

John 13: 27 says as soon as Judas took the bread from Jesus, Satan entered into him. When Jesus told his disciples one of them will betray him, in Matthew 26:25, then Judas, the one who would betray him, said, “surely you don’t mean me Rabbi?” John 12:3-6 Mary took an expensive perfume poured it on Jesus feet and wiped his feet with her hair. Judas objected, said the perfume could of been sold and the money given to the poor. Judas was a thief and loved money. He didn’t care about anything else. And for this reason I believe the devil saw his weakness and used it for his own purpose.

A Judas is an weak link in your midst. Someone who’s conscious not grounded at all. As the wind blows they sway like a leaf in their mind. They are always easily swayed. They are never happy with themselves and always try and play on both team. But there ultimate goal is always temporal.

Be aware of those who say they are for you and as soon as you turn your back they whispering. It’s their weakness and selfish desires that makes them vulnerable to temptations. So pray form.

“Depart from me, I never knew you” or “well done, good and faithful servant”

Chose the path you want to go. If you proclaim to fall Jesus (Christian), as a Child of God then follow, serve and be selfless. If you are of the world then stay asleep. To know God is to be awaken.

If we are awaken in Christ the things we use to do, we do them no more. Our thoughts, attitudes and way of life also changes. Old thing past away and the new has come in you. Who are you now? Hopefully not who you used to be, but a better version of yourself in Christ.

This week on October 1, 2020 got the news the president of the United state Donald Trump has covid-19. And much to my amazement I can’t believe the amount of Christians not people who are of the world, but follower of Christ, who wishes him to suffer, don’t care one way or the other, prefer to go to hell rather than forgive him for his actions and words as their President. They are so hurt about everything he’s been doing and saying that his ill health is a political matter, rather than a humane one. Yes Mr. Trump may have done and said somethings I believe only God could understand. Scriptures declares, “judge not lest you be judge and vengeance belongs to God, forgive us our trespass as we forgive those who trespass against us…”

Whatever God requires of us to do, we must do it like Ananias who baptized Saul the murderer of Christians, Acts 9:10-19. Peter’s vision, Acts 10: 9-16 “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” Jews and Gentiles don’t associate according to the law. But God changed that with Peter. Regardless on how we may feel about the a situation, obedience to the will of God must always be our priority as Christians.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Just think for a moment, are you doing the will of the Father in your life? I truly believe that God understand the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Not an excuse for us Christians to not try and fight against any negativity. Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! We cannot come before God in what we believe we’re doing is right, warrants his blessings. In other words, having a form but we are not possessing the true power. Don’t mock God, when you say you’re Christian, then mean it wholeheartedly! Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and put them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. This verse advises us about the importance of hearing and putting God’s word into practice in our lives as Christians.

We can be on our cross ( going through trials and tribulations) and as a follow of Christ look and say to those who has causes us pain and suffering and say, ” we forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And truly mean it. It’s not about you and what you may feel or think about the situation when hurt by someone to forgive them, but rather allowing the will of God to be done through your obedience to Him.

Matthew 5:1-12 Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, meek, hunger and thirst for righteousness, merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, persecuted because of righteousness and you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for Christ sake.
