“Depart from me, I never knew you” or “well done, good and faithful servant”

Chose the path you want to go. If you proclaim to fall Jesus (Christian), as a Child of God then follow, serve and be selfless. If you are of the world then stay asleep. To know God is to be awaken.

If we are awaken in Christ the things we use to do, we do them no more. Our thoughts, attitudes and way of life also changes. Old thing past away and the new has come in you. Who are you now? Hopefully not who you used to be, but a better version of yourself in Christ.

This week on October 1, 2020 got the news the president of the United state Donald Trump has covid-19. And much to my amazement I can’t believe the amount of Christians not people who are of the world, but follower of Christ, who wishes him to suffer, don’t care one way or the other, prefer to go to hell rather than forgive him for his actions and words as their President. They are so hurt about everything he’s been doing and saying that his ill health is a political matter, rather than a humane one. Yes Mr. Trump may have done and said somethings I believe only God could understand. Scriptures declares, “judge not lest you be judge and vengeance belongs to God, forgive us our trespass as we forgive those who trespass against us…”

Whatever God requires of us to do, we must do it like Ananias who baptized Saul the murderer of Christians, Acts 9:10-19. Peter’s vision, Acts 10: 9-16 “Do not call something unclean if God has made it clean.” Jews and Gentiles don’t associate according to the law. But God changed that with Peter. Regardless on how we may feel about the a situation, obedience to the will of God must always be our priority as Christians.

Matthew 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, Lord, Lord, will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Just think for a moment, are you doing the will of the Father in your life? I truly believe that God understand the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Not an excuse for us Christians to not try and fight against any negativity. Matthew 7:22-23 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers! We cannot come before God in what we believe we’re doing is right, warrants his blessings. In other words, having a form but we are not possessing the true power. Don’t mock God, when you say you’re Christian, then mean it wholeheartedly! Matthew 7:24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and put them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock. This verse advises us about the importance of hearing and putting God’s word into practice in our lives as Christians.

We can be on our cross ( going through trials and tribulations) and as a follow of Christ look and say to those who has causes us pain and suffering and say, ” we forgive them, for they know not what they do.” And truly mean it. It’s not about you and what you may feel or think about the situation when hurt by someone to forgive them, but rather allowing the will of God to be done through your obedience to Him.

Matthew 5:1-12 Blessed are the poor in spirit, those who mourn, meek, hunger and thirst for righteousness, merciful, pure in heart, peacemakers, persecuted because of righteousness and you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you for Christ sake.
