Look into the book of life, see our reflection

The Holy Bible is the book of life and by looking into it ( reading) we can see our reflection as man and our relationships with God as well as with one another, looking back at us. How well learnt are we today in our lives?

As our world is a circle, never ending, like life itself. I can’t help it, but I believe the Bible our (book of life) like the world, it’s never ending and not completed yet. I remembered as a little child in Sunday school, being told, no one was to add or take out of the word of God and Revelation is the final chapter. I believe there’s more and much more to be added especially at the return of Jesus.

I guess after having the Old and New Testament we can look forward to the Modern Testament. The change will come I believe when God is ready to take man on another level in the defeat of the strong hold of the devil. The devil has to and will be defeat. There’s always going to be rules even if sin doesn’t exist anymore. And maybe it wouldn’t be in a book, but written in our hearts, mind and our spirit. “I’m just saying!”

You ever felt like you don’t belong?

It’s maybe be because you just don’t! Some of us are born (chosen) to be who we are, and some made, because of the powers of influence surrounding us, be it good or bad. One thing that I have learned is that ancestry also plays a very important part of who we are, including genetics which can be hereditary and generational.

Everyone who was acknowledge as the chosen people of God are from the seed of Abraham according to biblical teachings, Deuteronomy 14:2 For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. Out of all the people on the face of the earth, the Lord has chosen you to be his treasured possession. Galatians 3:29 (NIV) If you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. Whenever you’re feeling like you don’t belong as a Christian repeat these bible verses.

Discovering who you are in relationship with God from biblical perspective or profoundly from an unexpected experience, you’ll find peace within and everything around you. But if you don’t, you’ll struggle and find yourselve conflicted, so conflicted about life, that you become depressed and anxious trying to understand how can you fit in with people.

You can feel like an alien in the world especially in relations to others. People are selfish, greedy, boastful, liars, manipulators, murderers, envious, adulterous, fornicators, hateful and the list goes on. “Lord help us!” How could you be righteous in a world that is filled with so much wrong? There’s no way you can easily escape the feeling of being different, especially when you’re chosen by the Lord for his will and purpose. You just can’t do bad things or be like everyone else. Jesus must have felt the same way growing up among us. Can you identify yourself as Jesus, wanting righteousness in a world that fights against you?

John 15:19 If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out the world, because of this the world hates you. The reason you feel like you don’t belong is because when the negative energies and forces surrounding you are heighten in the earth, like an angel from heaven, you long for the peace you once knew within your spirit. The evil in our world is a weight too heavy to carry.

Jesus proven victory over the devil (sin) for us all through Saul (Paul)?

The Damascus Road where Saul met  with our Lord and was converted, Acts 9. “Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me?” Saul asked, “who are you Lord?” He replied, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. “Now get up and go into the city, and you will be told what you must do.”

Saul chosen to suffer for Jesus name, Acts 9:16. As I understand it according to scriptures Saul is the greatest example of the stone the builder refused, (refused Christ), Lord makes your enemy your foot stool,( he will serve you) and love your enemies and be good to those who persecute you ( Jesus didn’t hurt him), the lists goes on to all the teachings of Christ in the Bible.

Saul, who became Paul in his conversion from a murderer of Christians to now a Christian himself. Was Paul’s conversion a way of the Lord showing us, he sees and knows everything going on with each individual of us here on earth? Paul’s conversion shows that the Lord is always in control regardless of what we intend to believe. The same way Paul was converted, I trust that when God is ready to change every man on earth to His will and purpose, we definity will be.

Why Paul? Did Jesus use Paul to show the devil after Judas hung himself due to his temptation and influence in his life being one of his disciples, that he would no longer have power or control over God’s children? Jesus life, death and resurrection overcame all evil influence and temptation by the devil. It seems like Jesus, through Paul, took back all power of authority He let go to be brutally dragged to the cross with all humility, without a fight. Hey, remember in the book of Job the devil boldly went to heaven and got permission from God to test Jobs faith in Him. Now Jesus boldly showed the devil he may no long have permission to test God’s children, period.

“Why Paul alone, and not all those who also was responsible for the stoning of Stephen and persecuting Christians?” Could Paul have had some question in his mind, but a true love for God in his heart? Did he looked at Jesus as just another false prophet or messiah? Maybe like so many of us, he was saying, “if you’re real then show yourself to me Lord, help your people, a sign or anything, that I may believe.” What was it that made Jesus single him out beside wanting him to suffer for his name sake, could it be Paul was truly spiritually blind like maybe some of us are?

Isolation, a very difficult time to endure

Isolation means, according to the Cambridge Dictionary: the condition of being alone, especially when this makes you feel unhappy; the fact that something is separate and not connected to other things.

Isolation either by oneself or man can be detrimental to your psychey. I don’t like using the word isolation when concerning God I rather say retreat. The definition of retreat: an act or process of withdrawing especially from what is difficult, dangerous, or disagreeable: a period of group withdrawal for prayer, medition, study, or instruction under a director, Merriam-webster dictionary.

If in Genesis 2:18 God says, it’s not good for man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him. If God isolates you it is because He’s your suitable helper for that period of time. Never to leave you alone, to be tempted and tortured by your own thoughts and feelings and worst, giving way to the devil. The Lord always has a plan for us and His plan is for good and not to hurt you, Jeremiah 29:11. This is how we can discern that if God allows isolation in our lives, it would not leave us broken. It edify, up lefts and draw us nearer to God, especially in obedience for the good of others as well as ourselves. Take a look at Jonah, after being in the belly of the whale for three days, Jonah 1:17.

So to retreat (isolate) is hard to endure without faith to bring you through to the other side of wisdom, knowledge and understanding instead of brokenness.

“The devil made me do it!”

It would be so easy to be able to give the excuse, “the devil made me do it,” every time we sin, in doing wrong. I could imagine going to God on judgement day begging not to be thrown into hell, cause it’s not my fault, lol.

From the beginning of creation man was given the freedom of choice, according to biblical teachings. It is in our obedience that our freedom of choice work for the good of us all. You don’t have to be religious to understand what is good and what is bad. We can all agree religious or not, killing someone, stealing, cheating on your lover, is bad (wrong), and the lists goes on. We have man made laws we all must follow. But look how lucky we are to have a God and His laws so many of us has the choice to follow or not. We don’t even have to believe in Him, choice!

I was once told, “no God, then there’s no devil.” I replied, “God and the devil doesn’t come together hand and hand, like two lovers. God created him as well as us, and all things. There are too many things in our world and the entire universe that no amount of our intelligence we can’t create, explains, begin to understand or even know the reason for its existence. As for the devil I see him, he’s real, because I refuse to believe that humans can be so cruel and evil to one other. I blame the devil and his temptation and possessive powers of influences over us.

We are the ones who go together hand and hand concerning the devil, “no man, no devil to be fighting.” If we look at it from a biblical perspective when Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. It was the man and the devil thrown out of the garden of Eden. In Genesis 3:15 God spoke about putting enmity between the devil seed and the woman’s. Never once was it mentioned that the devil and man was going to be best of friends. Enmity mean: (Merriam-webster definition) positive, active, and typically mutual hatred or ill will. Some how after time the devil was still able to continue to lead us away from God.

We personify God as man and the devil as a beast, but we are ever so wrong. God is a spirit and the devil is also, but an evil spirit, a fallen angel. If we look at it like this, positive and negative energy, God is both after all He’s God if you know what I mean, and the devil negative. The devil is a tempter, with powers to influence.

John 3: 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Jesus came to earth for our salvation. Through His life, death, resurrection and the gift of the Holy Spirit (the other comforter, spirit of truth) John 14:16. Now through faith in Him, we can all overcome every temptations and powers of influence by the devil, if we just believe. Once again, “our choice, and the devil has nothing to do with it.”

Autumn (Harvest, Fall) God’s beauty

Autumn, I considered it the transition season. To me transitioning is like from life to death, that I no longer see death through this season as something curious or fearful. When I look at everything God has created, beauty, ulgy, good and bad; it’s all has purpose.

Harvest is like the spirit being pulled out the dying flesh. Harvest season begins in autumn. In preparing for winter, all produce are harvested from the farms and all stalks, vines, plants, trees, ground, whatever the produce came from is going to go through transition for the next season approaching.

I love to see the different colors of the leaves that once covered the entire trees and its branches in one color, now changed into many. This is not a different types of tree, but the same tree that once had one color of green on it became colorful. This should prove and show to all who are ignorant about the color of skin and are racist it is God who created everything just the way it is.

I don’t know about others how this season may affect them, but it sure makes me feel depressed and achey all over. The gray sky, rain and the dampness in the air. Like a bear I much rather hibernate. But as a spiritual person, I understand it is the energy of the sun being pull further away, the earth seems to be preparing to get closer to the moon, and it’s coldness makes me feel like I’m drained of energy, when it’s really increasing the energy I am feeling, because it’s moving very fast. I can feel the pull and the turning of the earth, almost like an airplane on the runway ready for take off into the air and momentum has built up.

“Forgive them for they do not know what they are doing.”

Luke 23:34 (NIV) Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing.” And they divided up his clothes by casting lots.

“Yes, that’s right back then, they truly didn’t know what they were doing, I believe, but then Jesus came! Today I am sorry, there’s no excuse. I just don’t get it, it’s like too much information has us stupid?” Matthew 7:1-6 We are not to judge others! But this is not a judgement, I am having a very difficult time believing people today really don’t know what they are doing. It’s one thing that the worldly people may have problems, but the faithful Christians? Then there’s definitely a glitch in the system of the WORD.

If Jesus didn’t come to judge or condemn, who do we think we are to do it to others? Yet claim to be following him. Jesus final instructions to his disciples before ascending to heaven was to make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit, Matthew 28:19. Acts 1:8 But you will recieve power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. No where is it written that Jesus commissioned any of his disciples to be judge, jury and persecutors to all nations. When that time comes I am pretty sure God is well capable.

I don’t expect the world or people of God to be all good and perfect, this is not heaven, I get it. But we have to check ourselves as to what’s in our minds and hearts, because it is the vulnerable part of us that is easily lead to temptation. It’s enough that we have to be wrestling with the flesh, and the world and it’s desires. Spiritual discipline begins with a strong relationship with the Lord. “Don’t fool yourselves, no one but the Lord can help you with that, so start asking as scriptures delcares, “ask, and it shall be given you,” Matthew 7:7

I pray for us all who can’t see the errors of our ways and may the Lord enlightened us that we do. We came to far to turn back now. All hatred, jealousy, racism; any evil intent towards each other has to stop.

Tribute to Chadwick Boseman

I didn’t know you, know you, but I do. It is written in the Bible, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16. You are the light of God and even in death still shining. I see you now and even then through God. You were a gift to the world.

First it was Blade and the came Black Panther, and it changed the world as we know it. Chosen Chadwick Boseman! Chosen by God, to play that believable role as a super hero, because you are a hero, to me. Selfless, that’s who you are. I thank you for being so authentic and true to yourself. Every acalaid you receive you’re deserving. I can’t believe you were battling cancer for four years and no one who worked so closely with you knew. Not even one tabloid report, says a lot about your character. You weren’t looking for pity from anyone for you having cancer or indulging in it concerning yourself. You are an awesome human being, to see you were still smiling, giving interviews, standing your grounds and pressing on forward to your destiny regardless. I saw you moving surrounded by angels and now I understand the reason. They were waiting to guide you home to the Father.

Everyone should take noticed, on how you were able to be in the world and not of it, according to the Bible. Not everything concerning our lives we have to share with the world, somethings we must keep between God and our selves. In our world today it seems like everyone deems it necessary to expose everything in there personal lives especially on social media. Thank God for those who hold on to their some call old fashion values by keeping their personal lives private. And like you not have it controlled by the expectations of the world.

Thank God for your presence in our world. Rest in peace God’s Prince and my brother! “You are ever loved and missed.”

I saw my dad and I was not ready to yet

August 22, 2020 almost four months since the passing of my dad. With Covid-19 I was finally allowed to gather with a few family members for my dad’s funeral. One week after his funeral I went to clean up all his belongings and it broke my heart. To think what’s your treasure in life, when you die it becomes garbage to others. My dad had a lot of things to get the rid of, and as I was almost three quarters of the way cleaning up his belongs, just as I reached the bedroom door mopping I saw in my peripheral vision my dad sitting on the bed. I stop what I was doing and ran to the front of the house it tears. I heard a voice saying,” don’t be afraid” I said I’m not afraid, I wasn’t ready, yet.”

An epiphany hit me as much as I love my dad, like my heavenly Father I have to be prepared and will to meet Him. He’s watching over me and as long as I am in this world, in this body (flesh) it’s hard for me to see and connect with the spirit. It take the Holy spirit to fall on me to not be fearful, but ready to except the presence of the spirit by being always ready, without preparation.

Lord, I alway want to be read to be in your presence, without fears or doubts. I welcome the Holy spirit to fill me till your will be done in and through me. Amen!
