Even when being stoned Stephen kept his faith in the Lord, an example for us to follow

Like Stephen when we feel persecuted or life just seems to throw us a bad break and all hell is break lose in it. We must keep the faith and let our focus be always on our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ.

With all that’s going on in our world today with the pandemic being like the stones that was thrown at Stephen, if we stand for righteousness in being obedient whiles others die we will sleep.

David a man after God’s own heart didn’t finished his course, but Paul on the way to Damascus did!

35 Best King David images | King david, David, Biblical art

King David known as being a man after God’s own heart. God was David’s everything. He had a relationship with God unlike no other. I believe David being the youngest of his brothers was some how isolated from them and all he had in his life as a companion and friend was the Lord. His responsibility as a shepherd to the many sheep, the Lord has always been with him. With no mention of David’s mother and his relationship with his father all I can think about is Psalm 27:10, “When my father and mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up,” he wrote. David’s faith in the Lord was unmovable like that of the love of God for him, which is undeniable. David is proof that we can be high in the spirit of Lord, but sin through temptation and weakness of the flesh can bring us down so low if we’re not careful and discipline not allow the devil access in.

I believe the residue of the evil that Saul possessed fell on David when he had committed adultery with Bathsheba and murder her husband Uriah his faithful soldier of his army to cover up his sin. What happened to David that could of caused him to fall? Let us take a look Saul who became Paul.

THE CONVERSION OF SAINT PAUL THE APOSTLE – Feast: 25 January | A ...

Saul was on the way to Damascus to persecute Christians when strucked down by a blinding light. Saul is a murderer of Christians and the Lord Jesus chose him to be his apostle and to show many things he must suffer for his name sake. Saul who’s name changed to Paul Act 13:9 after being strucked down by the blinded light, suffered the same faith he’d inflicted on many Christians, by hunting them down and murdering them. Paul finished the course set before him by the Lord in all his works. He is one of the most prolific writer of the New Testament of the bible.

How is it that Paul this murderer of Christians unlike David, was not considered a man after God’s own heart, but some how was able to stay his course with the Lord, but David didn’t? The Lord helped me to understand according to 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 (NET) “Therefore, so that I would not become arrogant, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to trouble me so that I would not become arrogant. I asked the Lord three times about this, that it would depart from me. But he said to me, “My grace is enough for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”

I believe that if King David would have had a thorn in his flesh, he wouldn’t have fallen short and not complete his course. Paul thorn wasn’t only to keep him humbled, but to subdue him also by the power of the Holy Spirit to do the will of God. It took the life and death of Jesus to make it so much easier through him for us all to overcome every temptation that leads to sin and rebuke the devil.

The return of Christ, what if He’s here already?

Now when Jesus resurrected from the dead the only ones who were able to se him was his disciples. Was it not their faith that allow them to see him, or was it him revealing himself to them like another of his miracles? He came specifically to them so they can bare witness to truth like everything else he had taught and shown them. Jesus came to the disciples as water for the seed he had planted to keep it growing. If Jesus had come back to the world that crucified him, it would of made things a little complicated. The sacrifice of Jesus had to be real and true for the people of the world. But the disciples having being around Jesus for so long saw things and learned of things outside of the norms of the world. They were touched by the things of the kingdom of God that they couldn’t deny or ever forget, “truth and reality of the existence of God.”

Mary Magdalene was the first to see and spoke to Jesus at the tomb of his resurrection in the garden, John 20:15-18. Jesus sent her to let the disciples know she has seen him and he’s alive. For this reason they all believed and faith begun to pour into their spirit like water, from a drip to fully running down. When they truly believed, he showed up to them, even to doubting Thomas who was among them at the time. Jesus didn’t allow the disbelief of Thomas, like that of the thoughts of the negative to effect his plan.

We are waiting on God, but I truly believe He’s waiting on us believers to use our faith. Acknowledge like Mary that Jesus is here with us through faith, and listen to what He’s saying to us and go tell our brothers and sisters in Him. Look to Jesus for it is through him peace can be found in this unprecedented times.

I just had a revelation that Jesus is not returning as Jesus the man, but Jesus the spirit as he lift. His return will be predicated on finishing what he started, completely destroying the devil over our lives. We have to be willing to clear our minds of all impure thoughts by not giving the devil authority over it. Rebuke him and chose the side of the Lord.

No bible and no church, but God still is!

Looks like the Lord wants to know, “how well learnt are We?” Is our faith in Him strong enough to take us to the next level? or is God taking us back to the good old days before Moses? I say before Moses because the word of God was first given to Moses tangibly were as before it was written upon man’s heart. It was the thing that lead Moses to God in the first place. There was no written words to encourage Moses to seek the Lord.

The church according to Matthew 16:17-19. It is important for us to take note of what Jesus said to Peter, “for flesh and blood had not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.” The Church came through Jesus. Jesus obedience to God’s every will is the church, not a building.

The word of God can be defined as being his will and God’s will is done no questions asked, like magic.

Who are you in this unprecedented time, Noah or Jonah?

I’d like to think of myself as Noah, simply because God had found favor in him; blessed him and his family for being loyal and obedient amidst a sinful world.

Noah being in the world and not of it and his obedience, set him apart. Like social media and all new technology that God has provided for man in this 21st century, I am not going to allow the works of the devil to cause me to be caught up over it, making it an idol like he does with everything God created for us. I keep myself focused on the things pertaining to the Lord, being obedient and not allowing the worldly stuff lead me into sin.

Jonah, where are you? Let me guess doing your own thing by running from God and being disobedient. No different than Jonah, I have a love for God, but people I’ve got issues with. I had my struggle with God’s love for wicked and rebellious people, why he always give them a chance to redeem themselves? I couldn’t understand what is it he sees in them, when all I could of seen was evil and hoplessnes. But God being merciful, forgiving and compassionate still willingly want to use me, who’s tired of them and their ways, prefers he’d do away with them like in the days of Noah. “He can be bothered with them, but leave me out of it. I am only human and I am fatigue. Click a finger, say a word whatever Lord, please don’t ask me to help, knowing how I feel about it all.”

Being swallowed up by the fish for three days taught me that I am no different than the Ninevites that I was refusing to help. I am rebellious and wicked also, needing deliverance from God and to know he has not left nor forsaken me in my iniquity. Lesson is to love God with all your heart and mind, also to be obedient to him and loving others like you love yourself. There’s no room for narcissism in the kingdom.

Most of us can look at the pendemic like that day of Noah in the ark, but I tell you it’s more like Jonah. Disobedience is what cause Jonah’s trouble with the Lord.

Walking by faith in this world

Scriptures declare that we walk by faith not by sight, 2 Corinthians 5:7

This world that we’re living in is complicated and our level of understanding of it’s truth is more complex than our intellect will allow. So faith to me is another way of lifting myself out of the realm of the world’s truth and into that which is of God. Like wishful thinking(fantasy) being world’s and reality(truth) God’s.

When we walk by faith, we are in the realm of truth, in the world but not of it. Our sight, what we can see on this earth is clouded, not at all clear. Faith is the spiritual sight, we see clearly through the eyes and understanding of God and sight in the natural is confusing and changeable truth. I say changeable because of choice we are given, where as with the truth of God it is unchangeable, it just is truth, not how we would want it or fix it to be.

Faith is blinded, but yet sightful in letting things be as called out. Just like God was able to do in Genesis when he had commanded “let there be…” Genesis 1:3 and it was.
