Covid-19 is not a shift, but halt

This pandemic feels like a sudden car crash that hit head on, and our seat belt wasn’t on to protect ourselves. Now we all feel like we have been thrown around in the car and some outside of the car, those with the seatbelt on, bad whiplash and the air bag deployed saving our lives, but yet we complaining because it hurt us so bad.

All the damage caused, by this pandemic in our lives from social distancing, to self isolation, forbidden to be by your love one side as they give birth or falling sick to the illness and dying alone in a hospital, children stuck indoors, lose of Jobs, the mental psychological impact on everyone, and so the list goes on. People are predicting a baby boom is going to happen, not! With social media, video games, texting, and television, technology has taken the place of human interactions. Homes will be in a chaos for families who in today’s world live a very busy life and for the first time has to look each other in the eyes and carry on a conversation, trying to really get to know each other when normal life is through texting or fifteen minutes m conversation. Nothing is ever going to be the same, ever! Like the aftermath of a an earthquake, it seems to take forever to rebuild from such a disaster.

For sure, now we can appreciate being able to hug, touch, socialize, standing next to someone in line, on a bus, in the shopping centers, sitting in a restaurant, driving in a taxi and love on one another, breathing the same air as someone else, and not being afraid, physically touching. The things we took for granted. For all those who are prejudiced your wish has come true, but look, it’s effected you also. Thank the Lord for not being like you for all races, religious beliefs, social stature whatever prejudices you may have with all your ignorance, get educated now, once for all. No walls that would have been built would have prevented covid-19, a lesson to be learnt for everyone that we are all human beings that’s why we are all afflicted by this virus and can’t escape it.

I am so astonished at the fact that people are still trying to find ways of make money anyway they can, when so many people have lost their jobs, having to be self isolated. “Give unto the God, what is His and unto Caesar (world) Matthew 22:21. The stock market is going to crash. There’s no if or and about it, we are going into a recession, like when there’s a war, we can now consider covid-19 the world war of the 21 century. After all a lot of lives has already been taken by it, and we are not winning until we discover a cure.

The life lessons to be learnt is money is not everything and definitely not more important than our health and well being. “let it go people!” Make the sacrifice to let go all thoughts of fear and anxiety, not having enough or any money. Jesus fed five thousand people with two fishes and five loaves of bread, Matthew 14:13-21, the widow of Zarephath and the prophet Elijah. The widow told the prophet she doesn’t have any bread only a handful of flour in a jar and a little olive oil in a jug to feed herself and her son. God had told the prophet she was going to feed him, and here she was telling the prophet Elijah she didn’t have enough food. But he assured her that God says, her jar of flour will not be used up, and the jug of oil will not run dry, and so it was done according to the prophet, the widow was blessed with abundance, 1King 17:7-16 and Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not more valuable than they? Proves that the Lord will provide our needs.
