As Jesus was tempted in the wilderness, so are we

Our wilderness is where we find the greatest test of our faith. Matthew 4:1-2 Then Jesus was led by the spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry.

The devil first tempted Jesus with turning the stone into bread, because he knew he would be vulnerable to act due to his hunger. Goes to show that the devil will come against you when you’re at your weakest. Jesus showed his strength with the knowledge of the word of God, by saying, “It is written, man shall not live by bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.” John 1: 1 In the beginning was the word, and the word was with God and the word was God. Speaking about Jesus himself, who is the word.

The second thing the devil tempted Jesus with throwing himself down the highest point of the temple. Proving that he himself knows the word of God said, “For it is written, He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone. But if Jesus was a prideful man then the devil surely would of broken him at this point. What he really was doing to Jesus was mocking him, knowing that he was going to the cross as a sacrifice. The devil deliberately took him to the temple where sacrifice take place and like a torment to Jesus about his destiny to the cross, he was telling Jesus God was going to not let him die for real. When Jesus reply, “it is also written, do not put the Lord your God to the test.” He was saying in other words God is not to be proven, by faith we know He just is and his word is power.

The devil tried a third time to tempt Jesus, but this time with all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. He said, “all this I will give you, if you will bow down and worship me. First of all the kingdoms of the world was of no interest to Jesus, because he came that he may bring God’s kingdom to take over. Jesus was not interested in possessions after all according to Psalm 24:1 The earth is the Lord’s and the fullness thereof; the world and they that dwell therein… Jesus replied, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written, worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.”

On our own we are unable to withstand the temptations, lies and deception of the devil. But through the life death and resurrection of Jesus, we now have the ability to overcome. Jesus taught us through faith and obedience to God we have the power and authority over the schemes of the devil. Job faith was tried and tested by Satan by the permission of God and Jesus was also led into the wilderness to be tested, and so are we according to God’s plans and purpose for our lives.

I hunger and I thirst!!!

Romans 12:1 Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God- this is your true and proper worship.

It is the season of Lent and I am fasting and praying and for the first time ever and I am struggling. I hunger and thirst at the same time like never before. Now I am submerged in prayers and the word, but there’s a battle going on that is a distraction to my spirit. I cried out to God for I believe it was echoing from my spirit. And Lord reassured me not to worry I was being touched by the infirmity of the world. My spirit within is tracing(following) Jesus to the cross. Many are called and a few are chosen when fasting and praying in this season of Lent. Obedience, humility, selflessness and the love for others is what it takes to walk with and follow Jesus.

Fasting and praying, rejecting the nature of the flesh and giving the authority of it’s weakness over to the spirit. That the power and authority given to us through Jesus life death and resurrection shall come forth and take dominion.

I hunger and I thirst for His righteousness. Truth and righteousness is who God is! Standing in faith with prayer, the word and fasting will overcome the temptations and struggle.

If Jesus who’s divinity can be tempted!

If Jesus can be tempted and He’s divinity (deity) what about us human? The devil knew Jesus was divinity but in the flesh. He wanted to find within him the same weakness as he was in the flesh as he had found in Adam and Even. But Jesus being divinity was able to overcome every temptation the devil tried to seduce him with. Jesus overcoming the devil temptation wasn’t to prove he can for himself, but for all of humanity. Where we are weak he became strong within us. He took the sin within us that lead to temptation and destruction to the cross. Jesus overcame the devil so that we can also overcome him, not just temporarily, but for all eternity.

Coronavirus part 3 Look what the Lord has done!

Maybe to some who wouldn’t understand my logic, I may come across as being ignorant to the Coronavirus and the seriousness of it, but please I am going to do my best to justify myself with reasoning. My heart goes out to all those who has lost loved ones. I don’t mean to seem insensitive, but I thank God for covid-19 simply because of the things that could of been worst and all the good that has coming out of coronavirus.

What could of been worst, you asked? A death sentence once you catch it you die like Eblola and the children, they are not dying from it, so our future is secure. No cases, thank the Lord that in some ways it’s affecting pregnant women.

What’s the good that’s coming out of it, you ask? No respecter of persons, and knowing that it is God’s hands who’s orchestrating everything where this decease is concern. What kind of God would let something like this happened? God doesn’t allow anything bad to happen to us, he steps in to uphold us in times of crisis. It is sin within man and the devil responsible for bad things, not the Lord.

When I think of the fact that it is Lent season and the whole world has to take the Sabbath and shot down everything and pray from their homes, I am loving every moment of it. 2020 would go down in history, “as when the world stood still.” Just imagine how far man has evolved, with all knowledge and wisdom in technology, and science. We feel so proud like we have all the answers, we don’t need God. “Well Hahaha! To all who feels that way, and try to figure out this coronavirus and stop the world panic!” We are just man, with our strengths and weaknesses, created in His image. And we need Him regardless if we acknowledge his existence or not, He’s with us, loving and caring always. God never from the beginning of time ever cut the umbilical cord from us. He always knows when to reel us in and now is the appointed time.

If we believe what Romans 8:28 says, that all things work together for good, no matter what we are going throw right now with covid-19 or within our own personal lives, even if our faith falters and we fall into the water, like Peter, Jesus hands is right there stretch out to catch us. Understand that this to shall pass and nothing is impossible when God in control, if we’ll just have faith. Something good is going to happen and come out of all of this and probably already happening in the eyes of those who has the eyes to see and ears to hear what the Lord is saying and doing in our world. Fast, pray and keep watch, meditate on His word, and he will speak to you in dreams and visions.

Matthew 11:12 And from the day of John Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force. Maybe all this is happening because it’s just the beginning of the signs of the return of Jesus who’s going reclaim the world from all powers and principalities, rulers of darkness, for kingdom rule and power to take over. All the violence the kingdom has been suffering is coming to an end. A complete life turn around is taking place. As it was in the beginning so shall it be in the end, Amen!

A seed and clay, that what we are saints!

The Lord spoke to me this morning when I prayed asked again to be renewed in my mind, body and soul. I prayed until I got a break through. Don’t get me wrong this has been a prayer for the last ten years during the season of Lent, not an overnight thing. Like Jacob, I’d refused to let go until I was blessed, Genesis 32:26. Today I can cry out with joy and celebrate victory is mine, Hallelujah!!!

It is Holy season(Lent) a time for fasting, reflection, meditation and praying. To retreat from the things of the world and surrender to the Lord one hour to watch and pray. This is a time to let go and let God, surrendering to his will, to walk like Jesus did. All throughout the year, three hundreds and twenty-five days, I have the time to do me, as the saying goes. But for forty days it’s all about the Lord. God doesn’t need anything from me, so what I am doing is really for me to be rejuvenated and to be empowered with His authority and strength. Like going home to mama where you get the best food and nurturing possible. Sometimes we all need to go home to place where we first was loved and found security, lest we forget who we truly are and from whom and where we came, prodigal children, lol. If our parents will never turn us away and we are all sinners, can’t ever imagine God would!

It’s been three weeks I begin my fast, always like to get an earlier start and it’s been a struggle ever since then. But God held on to me when he felt my hand slipping as I always prayed. This is also how I understood that we are seeds and clay. Seed (you’re born) because we are planted to bring forth food; be fruitful. Seed also because our survival is determined by us drawing to the sun light(God). From deep within the earth we feel Him even if we can’t see. We are planted in His good ground. Even though it has been painful to break through the ground, notice nothing: no weeds, thorns and thistles can prevent our break through and ability to sprout and flourish. Clay (mold and shaped not born) because God took His hands and shaped us, Jeremiah 18:1-3

The struggle is ever so real when you’re called by God and in today’s world it is ever so difficult. Time spent with God is ever so limited because of the demands of a 24/7 operational world all about the greed for money and technology that has taken up all our time. We forget we have a God to glorify and devil to fight. No wonder so many are losing our way. But the Lord is calling for the seeds and the clays to gather themselves as soldiers to remind the world the work is not finished the end is not yet. There are still wars and battles remaining to overcome.

We are seeds planted grown and flourished, but then the enemy comes and cut you down in some ways or the other or the Lord is about to prepare you for even a greater purpose. But it takes His hands to shape and mold you. To restore you back to how you were to be. The Potter to the clay!!!

I have reason to feel victorious because of the vision I was given. I saw myself as nothing but dried up clay standing under water falling from the heavens, like that of a waterfall coming out of a mountain the water fell on my naked what looked like Manikin body that came to life. I was then given a yellow robe with a cord to dress myself in. I do understanding the vision clearly which is reason to celebrate and give the thanks. I was always told to keep my visions to myself because of what happened to Joseph for tell his dream. People will Try and kill you over a dreams and covering (coats).

Coronavirus part 2

The coronavirus is here so we can be reminded that our greed for money and the uses of technology working 24/7 will mean nothing if we don’t be still to know that God is Lord over us and our well being. Let’s not forget the planet. Look for example as the crisis in China had escalade and everything was shot down and the fog that was encompassating the whole of China because of the gases due to the business of working companies, now the fog has disappeared completely as everyone was quarantined and all work ceased. That’s like God saying the world needs to stop and shot down(need a Sabbath) if we care about our plant. The thirst for more and more money is never going to be quenched no matter what, we will not find the happiness we believe having lots of money brings. Not only would we be destroying our health, but also the planet. So turn off the phones computer and stop working 24/7 and take time to rest and pray. God doesn’t need anything from us, it truly about us and our well being.

It is Holy season, Lent. And so many of us wouldn’t and couldn’t take time off work to give unto God what is due. Now thanks to the Coronavirus everything is shot down, everything from vacations, nations, entertainments, travel, stock market, even to the Vatican Saint Peter’s square for this Holy season. Think of it “what a wow moment!” And everything that is taking place right now is like that of what happens when there’s a war. So are we shadowing what it would be like for a moment, if there were to be a war? Could it be that this is a warning from the Lord for all of humanity?

We are working 24/7, but the churches are not accessible 24/7. Man, our sins are beginning to get real heavy again. And like Moses when he had to get help from Aaron and Hur to keep his hand lifted up to gain the victory over the Amalekites, Exodus 17:8-16. So are the faithful right now to keep the battles and wars from escalating in our world.

Are we not like animals also? Just a thought!

One day I was going through some videos on YouTube, what started off as a curiosity about a video of mother monkey carrying her baby turned out to be a horror. First of all it wasn’t a mother, but a male monkey just dragging around a baby girl monkey, who was refusing to let go of him no matter what. It was very sad because the monkey was abusing the baby, but it kept holding on, not even running away from the abuse. It broke my heart and made me cried and that wasn’t the worst of it all as I kept watching more and more videos that popped up about all kinds of animals which started to appear one after another that was even more devastating.

I started off crying, but after watching a few more videos which was about what’s it’s like for animals living in the wild I was now bawling. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing, animals killing and eating each other. Snakes looking for a dog, money, bird whatever it can, the egles attacking baby animals and dragging them away, alligators waiting in the water to get a hold of any and everything that crosses its path to kill and eat, the leopard getting hold of a fawn(baby deer) as the parents watch fearfully and hopelessly running back and forward and the leopard playing with it’s prey just before grabbing it by the throat with one bite and it was dead, my husband then entered into the room, with a sobbing voice I said to him, “look at the video,” describing to him what was going on. His reply to me was it’s what happens in the wild and that’s how they survive is by hunting other animals for their food it’s normal. I considered it being so cruel and evil, and he said, “why are you watching that anyway?” I couldn’t watch that.” To watch a mother buffalo watch her baby snatched away and eaten by a pride of lions as she herself after fighting to protect the calf succumbed to the same faith, so devastating. I thought it to be cruel for the person videotaping not trying to intervene and help the poor animals. But I am just as bad for watching. Human nature forgive us Lord. Unlike Jesus with us, we chose not to help the animals, but we can if we truly wanted. Instead we stand by and say it’s all part of nature.

I thought to myself, life is real like living in the wild concerning humanity also. People can be so cruel to one another like the animals the only difference it is not for our survival or hunger, but dominance, greed and selfishness. It troubles my spirit within me so deeply, that I cry out to God. There is something wrong with the world when I look at all this bad, I see hell on earth in a sense. But it is part of what life is all about because of sin in the world, but why does it have to be like this? It seems so cruel. The cruel thing is the fear, suffering and then the death. But when it’s not that we have sickness, diseases, birth defects, accidents and then death. We just can’t escape I thought to myself.

As I reached out to God in pray about my fears of the reality of what I considered cruel and hurtful for both man an animal. I heard a voice inside me say, ” that’s what I felt why I came into the world, not to judge or condemn, but save it.” And in hearing those words I felt at ease in my spirit because I know that change is here for the better, all that is going on still is just a work in progress. I felt like the exposure of the wild was a wake up call for someone like me who has never had to see or experience anything like that to realize I am living where God changes has taken place already and the rest of the world would need time to catch up. I want to say is the civilized and the uncivilized is what we are dealing with and thank God for the civilized.

When Jesus cries

When Jesus starts to cry we know that something Good is going to happen. Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead, John 11:1-44. Jesus wept and he brought Lazarus back to life.

Jesus is probably looking down on the earth and He’s beginning to cry once again saying, “Father, am I going to them?” Remembering when he had gotten to Lazarus, both his sisters, Mary and Martha cried to him, and Mary fell at his feet weeping and said, “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died,” John 11:32.

Luke 19:41-44 Jesus wept over Jerusalem because he foresaw that they would suffer at the hand of their enemies for not recognizing the time of God’s coming to them. His death and resurrection became their salvation.

“Lord we are waiting patiently on you to come once again.” We do understand your reason for getting to Lazarus at the time you did, after his death. According to John 11:4 ‘It is for God’s glory so that God’s son may be glorified through it.’ So shall it be unto us today, knowing that through you, even if we are dead, like Lazarus, by the time you return we’d all live again.

Your blessings can be stolen?

Genesis 27:35 “Your brother came deceitfully and took your blessing.”

The story about Jacob and his brother Esau has been preached for decades, but there’s one thing that no one has ever addressed and that is, “why wasn’t Esau able to take back his birthright after selling it to his brother for a bowl of stew? This had to have been all a joke between siblings. “Seriously?” There’s was no such deal that could have been existing that you can sell or give your birthright away, the law was the law no exceptions. How could Esau give away what he hadn’t recieved yet? So the blessing wasn’t his to do whatever he wanted. Both him and Jacob should of known better.

My second concerned that no one ever addressed, “why knowing Esau is the eldest, couldn’t Isaac take back the blessing or even bless him also realizing he blessed the wrong son?” Both Esau and Isaac couldn’t change what was done because it wasn’t their choice it was God’s will. They just played it out unintentionally, which goes to show according to Proverbs 16:9 ” We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our step.”

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. This blessing being give to Jacob instead of Esau wasn’t a mistake, but destiny. It was prophesied by God while in the womb of Rebekah their mother when she went to inquire of the Lord, why the babies jostled each other within her, Genesis 25:21-26

Rebekah like her mother-in-law Sarah even though she was given the prophecy because she loved Jacob she didn’t wait until God fulfill it, she went ahead to make it happen by making Jacob pretend he was Esau. Her action caused her sons to war with each other. Sarah give her sevant to her husband Abraham to also fulfill the Lord’s prophecie which also cause her heart aches. As for Jacob his actions didn’t go unpunished he suffered the same deceptions he did to both his father and brother by the hand of his uncle Laban, Genesis 29:16-28

Lesson learned that your destiny is high depended on the will of God to be fulfill. Wait on the Lord, wait patiently. No one can take your blessing especially when it’s God’s plan for your life.

Harry and Megan a prayer for you

My Heart goes out to you Harry and Megan. I pray to God that the peace and protection Harry is truly looking for himself and his family he would find it in God. The world cannot offer or guarantee him what he’s looking for, he’ll ever find. Trusting in the Lord makes the impossible possible. No one, not even to his own family who loves him very much and believed they know him better than anyone, can’t comprehend why he’s so afraid and willing to give up all that he knows and is(Royal)

When we look at you we see a grown and mature man, but the Lord see what we can’t in your actions, the hurt and fear of an innocent eleven years boy having lost his mom, to not show any emotions as he walked behind his mother’s coffin being carried to the church on a house carriage. Fulfilling his thoughts and promised to himself maybe at that time, how he would protect his family when he would get one of his own. Everything should of been done like what you’re doing to have protected and keep your mother alive and safe. You’re still trying to save her mother in a sense.

I believe everyone was unaware his behaviour in the past had seemed like rebellion or just bad decisions and judgements was actually still the mourning his mother. Everthing in his past was a shadow of where his destiny was going to lead him. And his action is terrifying his brother because he is worried about losing him. Harry, you take risks and do things that seems put your family on edge. Maybe your brother fear is seeing you repeating what happened to you mom after breaking away from the family. Even with all the money she had it didn’t protect her life as if she would of being protected remaining in the royal family. You’re determining your training and the knowledge of being in the army would help him to protect them the best you can and after all being grown-up as a royal you knows what it takes to have good security for protection. Having divine security also is even great.

Harry I pray that you and your wife will draw near to God. A family that prays together stays together. Get under His covering and no weapons formed against you all will ever prosper. That doesn’t mean nothing bad wouldn’t happen, even though it does you shall overcome. The Lord will give His angels charge over you, to keep you and your family safe. Having a relationship with the Lord, give you faith to move mountains, peace, joy and hope. Try putting God first and all other things in your life will be blessed, Amen
